Repairing Technology. Restoring Confidence. Creating Opportunity.
Repair Babe was founded on a simple belief: technology should create opportunity, not barriers. We repair devices, teach practical skills, build websites, and help people feel more confident in a world that runs on technology.
Technology should make people feel capable.
A repaired phone can reconnect a family. A working laptop can help someone finish school. A website can launch a dream. A new skill can create a career.
Technology is one of the greatest equalizers in the world, but only when people have access to it, understand it, and feel confident enough to use it. That is why Repair Babe exists.
Not simply to repair devices. Not simply to sell services. Repair Babe exists to help people discover what they are capable of through technology.
Before Repair Babe became a business, repair became my lifeline.
My name is Bianca Shillingford. I did not grow up believing entrepreneurship was something people like me did. I grew up in New York City public housing. As a teenager, I spent time in juvenile detention and later in group homes. I became a young mother long before I had life figured out.
For a while, it would have been easy to believe that my circumstances had already written the rest of my story. But they had not.
Some people are saved by music. Some are saved by art. Repair saved me.
The first time I brought a broken device back to life, something changed inside me. It was not only about fixing technology. It was about realizing that broken things are not always beyond repair.
That lesson became bigger than electronics. It became the way I saw my own life.
The more I repaired, the more I rebuilt myself.
Technology gave me structure. It taught me patience. It rewarded persistence. It challenged me to think differently. It reminded me that every difficult problem could be solved one step at a time.
Over the last two decades, I have earned certifications, developed my craft, and repaired thousands of devices. But the greatest thing repair ever gave me was not only a career.
It gave me a future I was not sure I was going to have.
That is why Repair Babe exists today. Because if repair could change my life, maybe it can help change someone elseβs too.
Honest advice. Every time.
We do not believe every broken device should be repaired. Sometimes replacing it saves you money. Sometimes a software update solves the problem. Sometimes the repair simply is not worth the investment.
If that is the case, we will tell you. Our goal is not to sell you a repair. Our goal is to earn your trust.
We would rather build a long-term relationship than make one quick sale. That is the Repair Babe Promise.
The principles that guide everything we do.
Technology belongs to everyone.
You do not need the perfect background, expensive education, or years of experience to belong in tech.
Knowledge should be shared.
We believe education opens doors. The more people understand technology, the more power they have.
Repair is empowerment.
Learning to repair something changes the way you see problems, devices, and yourself.
Community comes first.
Repair Babe exists to leave people, businesses, and neighborhoods stronger than we found them.
Different services. One mission.
Repair Babe exists to unlock opportunity through technology. Every service we offer supports that purpose.

What we stand for.
We are building for the people we may never meet.
One day, I hope someone walks into a Repair Babe classroom without ever questioning whether they belong there.
I hope a young woman picks up a screwdriver for the first time and realizes she belongs in this industry. I hope a parent discovers a new career after learning repair. I hope a student builds a business they once thought was impossible.
If Repair Babe is remembered generations from now, I hope it is not because of how many devices we repaired. I hope it is because of how many lives we helped change.
Repair. Empower. Repeat.
Whether you are here because your phone will not turn on, because you are curious about technology, because you are starting a business, or because you simply need someone you can trust, you are in the right place.
Repair Babe is more than a repair company. It is a community built on the belief that people are capable of more than they often realize.
